Blair Brown is an actress I admired from a TV show called The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. One day I saw an appointment for Blair Brown on my calendar, and was excited to meet her. The woman pictured, entered and one of the staff got her situated, and when I greeted her, she said I’m Blair Brown. I had been expecting the same vibrant red head as from the earlier years, and was slightly taken aback at how 30 years changes someone. She came for some underwear for a small play she was performing in, and needed “granny panties.” We talked about getting older, and how we go from being “hot” to not in the performance business, as elsewhere as we mature into Queenagers. One wrinkle can wreck a career, and we see how insanely that has progressed to Ozempic world. Ms Brown was happy to still be a working actor, even if she now played grandmas.
