Lori Kaplan

Lori Kaplan is a New York–based entrepreneur, advocate, and storyteller whose work explores identity, resilience, and the unseen experiences that shape how people show up in the world. With a background in psychology and organizational studies, Lori brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to her work combining systems thinking with a deep understanding of human behavior. She is the founder and former CEO of BraTenders NYC, where she built a pioneering service business rooted in personalized care, long-term relationships, and hands-on leadership. Over more than two decades, she worked closely with women in intimate, often transformative moments experiences that now inform her writing and voice. Today, Lori focuses on sharing those insights through storytelling, speaking, and her forthcoming memoir, My Life Behind Bras: Tales from the Titty, a candid exploration of the moments, challenges, and human truths she witnessed throughout her career

Advocacy & Impact

Lori’s work is grounded in dignity as a lived practice.
She has organized and contributed donations of essential clothing to individuals affected by disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, and has supported people in moments of profound personal need guided by a belief that small acts of care can carry deep meaning.
Her work has also included supporting organizations such as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Bowery Mission, Backpacks for the Street, and Sesame Workshop’s 3G initiative
